Our transparent sunscreens are manufactured using a specially developed, UV ray resistant film that can significantly reduce the amount of solar heat transmitted into a vessel's interiors. The screens are easy to install and their transparent design ensures that they do not block the view outside.
Our blackout roller blinds are made with a heavy-duty blackout fabric that can completely block out sunlight, making them ideal for use in cabins and other areas where complete darkness is required. The blinds are custom-made to fit each vessel's specific window requirements and can be operated manually or using an electric motor.

Anti-Glare Roller Screens
SOLASAFE® (with cassette) and SOLAROLA® (without cassette) are the two Type Approved anti-glare screen formats. Both use the same SOLASOLV® see-through screen material and deliver the same performance figures. SOLASAFE® is preferred for newbuild and professional retrofit installations. Dimout and Blackout Fabric Roller Blinds
CASSLITE® (cassette dimout), DIMMLITE® (non-cassette dimout), LITETITE® (100% blackout), and Ziptrak® (internal cabin blackout blind) cover cabin accommodation, crew rest areas, and specialist applications where light reduction or complete blackout is required. All fabric blinds use flame retardant material meeting IMO FTP Code fire safety standards.

What is the difference between SOLASAFE® and SOLAROLA®?
Both use the same Type Approved SOLASOLV® anti-glare screen material. SOLASAFE® is cassette-mounted, providing a clean enclosed housing preferred for newbuild specification and professional retrofit installations. SOLAROLA® is the non-cassette version, suited to straightforward retrofit installations on vessels already in service.
