MARKETING STRAPLINES

Straplines can be very useful tools for a business to benefit from, as a search on the Internet using something like ‘what is a strapline in business’ will verify. This was what my search engine came up with. They can be used to promote various aspects of your organisation to clarify how good it is but ultimately they are all designed to increase turnover and hopefully profitability.
Straplines are not new. The marketing team at Solar Solve has been aware of straplines since the company was formed in 1988. We permanently adopted a very simple one, ‘THE CUSTOMER IS KING’, which we had used in the family business pre-1988. It is short, sharp and to the point but definitely not original and can be used by almost any organisation. We do include it as part of our ISO 9001:2015 Quality Assurance System but began to create others that are more relevant to our brand names. We decided to use them on a quarterly rotation system and some that we have used in the past include:-

2) ‘SOLASOLV’ clear vision with true colour rendition
3) ‘SOLASOLV’ The World’s Favourite Sunscreen. Why settle for less?
4) ‘SOLASOLV’ – EXPERIENCE EXCELLENCE
5) ‘SOLASOLV’ – CLEARER VIEW, SAFER JOURNEY
6) ‘SOLASOLV’ – GOLD, SILVER, GREY OR BRONZE – THE BENEFIT WILL ALWAYS BE GREEN
Plus 14 others.
However, we are currently using one that we have stuck with for almost a year and at the October 2022 Monthly Marketing meeting the team will be discussing changing the present policy and deciding if we should keep this one permanently. It is:-
SOLASOLV – DESIGNED TO LAST, DELIVERED FAST – THE BRAND YOU KNOW AND TRUST!
It is my suggestion, so I am biased. Do any readers have an opinion?
