CSL Argosy is a 244 metre panamax bulk carrier that was originally built in 1981 but was rebuilt with a new forebody in 2006. The vessel can carry 17,000 of net tonnage and has a discharge rate of up to 6,000 tonnes per hour depending on the cargo.
Paul Hopkins, from Solar Solve Marine commented, “Here we have another significant order for a vessel that despite being 35 years old is still continuing to install the latest modern equipment to ensure the safety of its crew and cargo. The SOLASOLV® boat sun screens will help to significantly reduce glare, heat and reflection on the navigation bridge whilst the ship is at sea.”
