In spite of the significant downturn in the global marine industry I am pleased to report that here at Solar Solve we are definitely bucking the current trend, possibly because we manufacture and supply the leading brands. We don’t have a third party manufacture stuff for us.
Since moving to our new location we have the benefit of reduced overheads AND a more compact production area which has reduced the distance between workstations on the factory floor but with still enough room for our skilled team of forklift drivers to manoeuvre round unhindered.
With between 6 and 12 months supply of raw materials and components always in stock round the interior periphery, we are well prepared to undertake orders of any size, any quantity at a moment’s notice. We can manufacture them within 1 to 5 days (depending on if the requirement is for up to 50 or up to 500 blinds) right here in South Shields.
Add to that achievement the fact that UPS can deliver overnight to most parts of Europe or within 2 days to the rest of the world, depending on the destination. We believe our Super-Fast service cannot be beaten.
The icing on the cake for our customers is the fact that everything we do is to ABS Certified ISO 9001 : 2008 Quality Assured Standards and our SOLASOLV® roller sunscreens are the only ones in the world to be Type Approved by ABS, Lloyds and DNV. Our ROLASOLV® range of roller sunblinds is also Type Approved by DNV.
