After the 3-week long government-enforced shutdown, the Solar Solve factory re-opened for manufacturing of orders just over 3 weeks ago. With the administration team members working remotely from home and a reduced workforce in the factory operating under strict social distancing guidelines, we have slowly but surely manufactured and dispatched all outstanding orders plus many others that were required urgently by some of our customers.
Currently we are offering reduced dispatch dates and are aiming to get quite close to our normal delivery periods and we intend to maintain them for as long as current circumstances prevail.
The really good news is that all of our suppliers are back at work or will be imminently. Solar Solve has plenty of stock in the factory and continues to receive additional supplies regularly. We are confident that all of Solar Solve’s suppliers will continue to fulfil our ongoing requirements.
In spite of the worldwide shutdowns and lockdowns, some countries appear to have been allowing businesses to continue trading to help the economies of their nation, buoyed by the huge number of people who are able to do their jobs working remotely from home.
More good news is that, within the global Marine Industry, we know ship builders are continuing to build vessels and the new owners are accepting delivery of them. Even more encouraging is the fact that many shipowners are looking towards a positive future and continue to place orders for new vessels.
Here at Solar Solve we will be ready to supply all of their Type Approved roller sunscreen and specialist roller blind needs.
It will all take time so in the interim period we just have to continue living and working within government guidelines and make every effort to stay well.
