The above photo was taken on 10th November 2020, the family business’s 45th Anniversary and it was used in some of Solar Solve’s marketing material for the Christmas 2020 holidays.
Solar Solve has always maintained very high levels of stock in its factory. The objective being to hold around one years supply of essential items. In light of Covid-19 and to avoid any future possible issues, a decision was made to order many more months of stock to retain on site. It will enable the company to continue manufacturing and dispatching orders of any size, without the worry of running low on anything. For less essential stock items that are delivered by local companies on a regular basis, such as the timber that is used to make packing cases, stockholdings of those items have also been increased.
As a result, somewhere was needed to store all of the additional stock, so 2 new storage containers were purchased and sited in our rear yard. They have both been specially adapted to open from the sides so that a fork-lift truck can be used to quickly transfer stock in and out as and when needed.
I can now give an update on this Infrastructure Investment with the photos below that were taken in Mid-December, just after the deliveries of extra stock had been stored in the new containers.
At Solar Solve, we have always been ready (to take a twist on South Shields town motto of ALWAYS READY) and able, to produce exactly WHAT our customers want, exactly WHEN and Exactly WHERE they want them.
We will endeavour to ensure that sort of excellent service continues throughout 2021.
