It is standard procedure at Solar Solve to conduct Annual Staff Appraisals during January of every year. This year they took place on 14th and 15th January.
The Appraisals went off exceptionally well, in part because our company enjoyed a very good year throughout 2019. Everyone was kept extra busy and the year flew by with no real problems for us and no problems at all for Solar Solve’s customers.
Naturally that made our great team very happy. To be working for the global marine industry’s premier supplier of Type Approved roller sunscreens and roller blinds makes us all extremely proud.
There is another reason for one Solar Solve employee in particular to be very proud. Production Technician Malcolm Craig joined the company on 9th August 2006, 13½ years ago and he has never been late arriving at work or taken a day off sick in all of that time. It is no wonder that Mal is very proud, it’s a magnificent achievement and everyone in the Solar Solve Team congratulates him. “Well Done!!, Mal.”
Mal can be seen in the photo busy setting up TEST RIG 1, so that he can carry out some final inspection and testing of SOLASAFE roller sunscreens before they are packed, ready for dispatch.
Whilst Mal is the holder of this very impressive record, his fantastic personal ‘Sickness and Attendance’ record is by no means unique in our extraordinary company. We can make many other similar claims.
Over the last 20 years there has regularly been periods of 4 or 5 years in a row when no employee has been off sick or arrived at work late. There are others who have records very similar to Mal’s. This is because of the camaraderie and respect our employees have for each other and their wholehearted commitment to Solar Solve and its customers.
We are all looking forward to 2020 and beyond with great enthusiasm.
