As part of Solar Solve’s 30th Anniversary celebrations I have been researching our historical document archives and found lots of interesting facts and information.
One article in the August 1997 Newsletter referred to the fact that ‘MD Julie Lightfoot took the company through its 5th external quality audit in a row without one Non-Conformity being raised in any of them. This was certainly a record for the external auditor personally, who has conducted all 5 of the audits with Julie on behalf of the British Standards Institute.’
Another 20 years have passed since then and we have had a Quality Assurance standard in place throughout all of that time, though no longer with BSI. It is a very bold and far reaching claim for us to make but the fact is that after every external audit there has never been a Non-Conformity raised by the auditor.
It has always been vital to Solar Solve Ltd, that the SOLASOLV antiglare roller sunscreens that we manufacture to improve the working environment on a vessels navigation bridge, or in an air traffic control tower, or a crane operators cabin or numerous other locations all over the world, are perfect when they are received and when they are in use. Similarly with our ROLASOLV Type Approved flame retardant marine quality roller blinds and all of the services that we provide along with both products.
We don’t just care and take time to make sure everything we do for our customers is done with their best interests and quality assurance in mind. We apply the same commitment to the procedures, processes, documentation and administration practices in-house to provide the necessary documentary traceability as evidence.
This is just one more record that speaks volumes for our team at Solar Solve and confirms why we are a global Brand Leader.
